I love pie crust. It’s my favorite part of any pie! If I could scoop out most of the filling and add a dollop of Cool Whip Lord knows that slice would be gone in 30 seconds flat.
I was looking around Pinterest for a recipe that was specifically pie crust focused. I came across these super easy and adorable little Cinnamon Sugar Pop-Tarts from Sally’s Baking Addiction! Sally uses a homemade pie crust recipe, but I was low on time so (modern girl tip!) I grabbed a premade pie crust from the store. The whole process took me about 25 min start to oven.
^^look at that flakiness! Also, the way the brown sugar oozes out is so perfect.
Click here to try Sally’s recipe! Trust me, these tiny treats are perfect for a sweet snack or make them larger and have one for breakfast on the go.
Next up on my “to make/bake” list is this delectable Strawberry Galette from Amanda Frederickson of A Life Well Lived. I found her recipe and interview on SF Girl By Bay – it’s a great read! So many Oakland restaurant recommendations.
