Pinterest Inspiration from my Rainy Weekend

At this point I’m thoroughly convinced that the sky is falling here in San Francisco. It has been raining for a whole week straight. The only thing keeping me from going stir crazy is cranking out some of the Pinterest recipes and DIYs I’ve saved up.

I’m loving spending my time on Pinterest lately for more than it’s boredom killing abilities. It’s where I find a wealth of articles on all things social media (I’m such a marketing nerd), interior design ideas, packing lists and the latest fashion and beauty trends. Here’s a little bit of what’s been catching my eye lately.

Minimal Kitchen

when imagining my future kitchen I really like the idea of having a tall wooden table instead of a traditional island. who else is loving wood accents these days?

Low Bunsometimes a low bun style is the only way to go – especially when you’re looking for an easy do in the rain.

Parmesan and Spinach Orzoalways looking for recipes that call for ingredients I most likely have in the fridge. Spinach? Check. Parmesan? Check. Orzo? Check.

Slidesloving the hair tuck and monochrome ensemble. Question: has anyone figured out how to walk in slides? I want a pair, but I’m not so sure yet… TBD

Mykonos Householdan authentic Grecian living room – the abundance of (simple) white pillows really sets the whole scene!
