Where to Grab a Glass of Wine in San Francisco

Marengo Wine Whiskey and Sliders

In case you haven’t noticed, my drink of choice is almost, always wine. There’s nothing better than enjoying a glass of red at happy hour with the girls or while watching my favorite shows like The Bachelor and Scandal (#TGIT anyone?)

Have you ever noticed that there has to be a certain “ambiance” when wine is involved? Almost like a very chill and relaxed or loungy state. Being in a rowdy bar just wouldn’t feel right for the full wine “experience.”

I’ve done my research as far as the great spots to grab a glass of wine in SF goes and now I’m sharing the results.

My friends and I have a thing for Marengo in the Marina (and now FiDi). Not only do they have a great house red for only $5 a glass on happy hour, but they also have this queso that is so crave-worthy.

Have you ever been to Redford? To say we’re regulars might be an understatement. Tip: go on a Tuesday! It’s happy hour all night which means 50% off wine bottles and Ahi Tuna Tacos for all.

I like pizza because it usually goes great with some Chianti and I like to get both at Delarosa! There are a couple of locations, but I prefer the one on near Market simply because there’s more patio space than the other one on Chestnut.

…and when all else fails, Union Larder is always a win! Walk there on Hyde Street for the full experience.
